Las Vegas!

This past week we went to Las Vegas with Erika and Charlie for the national PA conference and to visit Dominic's brother Andre. Dominic and I have been to Las Vegas twice before, but it was Erika and Charlie's first time. During the day Erika and I went to the conference and Dominic and Charlie golfed and saw the Hoover Dam. We also saw most of the big hotels, walked the strip, and layed by our rooftop pool to get some sun. At night we ate at good restaurants - Nobu at the Hard Rock was our favorite -, saw Cirque de Soleil's O at the Bellagio - an awesome water show -, and then Andre, like always, showed us a good time until the wee hours of the morning. Andre dances in Cirque de Soleil's Elvis show, but just recently had knee surgery so he is on a break, so we unfortunately could not see him dance in his show. Being a performer and living in Las Vegas for a while now, he knows a lot of people so he is always able to get us in the most popular clubs at night without waiting in any lines or paying cover - hard to do if you have ever been to Las Vegas' nightlife. We had a ton of fun drinking and dancing while we were there, but were definitely ready to give our bodies a rest by the time we went home on Saturday - thanks Dre! (Also thanks to my parents and Dominic's parents who watched the kids while we were gone - we heard they had a lot of fun too.)

At the club Blush in the Wynn - we got free champagne with chocolate and strawberries!

We met Andre's girlfriend Leah, who is also a dancer in his show.

Charlie had a lot of fun dancing . . .

and talking with the bouncers.

Us at the Venetian by the gondolas.

Thanks again Dre!
