Aubrey's Birthday and 4th of July
Finally got a day to blog - so this is a little late, but Aubrey turned three on June 11th! On her actual birthday we went to the Brewer's game with my parents, grandparents, and Erika, Charlie, Max, and Mya. The kids loved it and especially liked watching Bernie the Brewer slide down the slide everytime there was a homerun. Aubrey went to daycare that day as well in which she brought Tinkerbell cupcakes for her birthday treat and they made her a crown to wear. She wore it all day and even to the Brewer game, so everyone knew it was her birthday.
The following Sunday we had Aubrey's Tinkerbell birthday party - she loves Tinkerbell and all the fairies right now. When I asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday all she kept telling me was that she wanted a Tinkerbell cake, so our local cake shop made her one - they are really good and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a specialty cake. I think the cake turned out great.
We had family and friends over to celebrate - we had nice weather, the kids ran around outside, and had fun hitting the pinata.
We got Aubrey a electric jeep for her birthday. Dominic has taught her to drive it pretty good, but we are still working on braking. Aiden loves to ride with her, but always looks like he is going to fall out.
Some cute pictures of Aubrey
This past holiday weekend our schedule was packed with lots of parties - two graduation parties and four holiday parties. We had a lot of fun swimming, eating, and watching fireworks with lots of friends and family, but it wore the kids out! They were sleeping until 7:30 - 8 o'clock, which never happens at my house - we have very early risers! I didn't take pictures from this weekend except for at the kids parade on 4th of July in all of their festive gear. Hope you had a fun weekend too.
