Aubrey has turned out to be a great big sister and wants to help with Aiden whenever she can. Aiden has started cereal and Aubrey has to be the one to feed him every night. We are working on getting the spoon to his mouth (not his eye) and gently putting it on his lips (not down the back of his throat)! Aiden is a trooper (not gagging too much) and just enjoys the entertainment of his big sister. He has yet to master swallowing but will get a couple of spoonfuls down. I am sure once we move to fruits and veggies he will get the hang of it and my laundry load will increase due to Aubrey's feeding technique.

More weddings and Visitors from Germany
Congrats to my cousin Matt and his new bride Sharon. They had a wonderful but hot outdoor ceremony and a fun reception at the PAC. These pictures are stolen from Erika. (If you notice, Aiden and Mya are missing from some of them - thank you, thank you Emily and Brian!)

The next day Dominic's parents had a cookout for Dominic's aunt, uncle, and cousins who are stationed in Germany right now. It was good getting to catch up and made me realize what good babysitters I am missing in Dominic's cousins - Aubrey loved them!
And I had to post these cute pictures of Aubrey and Layla from the other weekend - getting them both to smile and look at the camera was hard, but adorable.

Busy, busy . . . and Aiden is 4 months
This past month has flown by with two bachelorette parties, a bachelor party, a baby shower, and two weddings. It has been a lot of fun but hasn't given me much time to update my blog. And Aiden is already four months old.
All the wedding festivities were for a good friends Emily and Brian, and Jennele and Ryan. We want to say congrats to the two great couples and Emily and Jennele were both beautiful brides.

Aiden is growing like a weed and has accomplished a lot of firsts this past month. He now smiles all the time and can hold a conversation with lots of coos. He finally giggles, which I love and have been waiting for! He is starting to grab for toys and jump in his jumperoo. We are still working on rolling over (he hates being on his tummy) which he is a little slow compared to Aubrey at this time. I looked back in Aubrey's baby book and at this time Aubrey could roll across a whole room at this time. Instead of rolling over Aiden just turns himself in circle on his back to move around. It has also been a tough month on him (and on mommy and daddy) because he has been sick twice. When he is sick he only sleeps when someone is holding him and that is for only for about 45 minutes to an hour at a time (not too much sleeping going on at night at our house). He also is a puker and will cough so hard and make himself throw up - my poor baby. These past weeks daycare has been writing on his sheet that "Aiden misses his mommy" which melts my heart but I know then he was probably pretty fussy for them. Hopefully he will be feeling better soon. His four month check-up is next week so I will have stats on how big my little boy is then.

Lots of pictures from the past month: (they may be a little out of order)
